In observance of National News Literacy Week, PBS Reno and the News Literate Community Initiative are pleased to co-host a special screening of the PBS documentary, Fake: Searching for Truth in the Age of Misinformation.

Following the screening, a panel of citizens will offer their insights on the importance of news literacy and respond to audience questions.

The News Literate Community Initiative (NLCI) is a collaborative community-based program that is dedicated to fighting truth decay by bringing a wide variety of resources to the community that help people tell fact from fiction and become more savvy consumers of all kinds of news.
